Assalam-O-Alaikum Steemit
Hello and welcome friends and all Steemit Community Members. It's a pleasure for me to share my diary with you. And I feel glad that you take the time to read my diary which is basically my thought and feelings.
So let's start our today's Diary. Do like and support me thank you.
Waking up early in the morning, I thanked Almighty Allah first. It's my believe that when you wake up from the sleep it's like being alive another day. And when you are alive what else do you need. There is nothing more important than Life.
People run after resources and things in life, they think that all other things are greater they spend their whole life collecting things and finding happiness in those things. And when they grow old lose time and health they come to know that their life time was important and their health was important.
They use their whole wealth they have collected in their whole life in the health they have lost.
It's so true and important to observe that you cannot get back the most valuable things in life. And more importantly you have to realise that what are those valuable things. Let me ask you some questions to remind you some of those.
Can you get back the time you have lost?
Can you give someone your eyes for a lot of money?
Can you give someone your heart for a great wealth you desire for?
Most probably you can't. So you have to realise it friends. That there are the things that are more important in life. Which are related to you and your life. Very close relations, like family and friends and the people you love and the people who love you are important.
So I had bathe became fresh and had my breakfast with the eggs, bread and the tea. Which is our traditional breakfast.
After having breakfast I came to my room and opened my shelf. In the shelf I found a book that I recently bought.
A very interesting and motivational book, some very emotional as well. It's author is Paul Kalanithi. Paul was a neurosurgeon and writer too. He had his degrees in English Literature, Biology, and philosophical science. Paul has described his own story in it, how he fulfilled his journey from childhood to the neurosurgeon. Paul was keen on exploring things. When he grew older he was interested in learning English literature and Philosophy. He has explained that he didn't knew till joining the college that he would become a doctor. His professors always said to him that he could become a writer and Paul used to think that he should become a doctor now. But one day while returning home Paul decided to become a doctor. Because he always used to consider while reading Philosophy, what is the connection of Mind to the life?
So he applied to a medical school and got selected. He has discussed in the book the school and professors and the whole environment. When he got into the first year of school he met a girl named Lucy who was also a doctor.
Lucy later became his wife. So Paul decided to become a doctor which was not his profession at first. But he was able to face the challenges and whatever he wanted to do, he could do it under every condition. Neurosurgery is not an easy job, but He was a man of strong emotions and pursued that thing. He did 7 years of residency which every doctor has to do. He said in the beginning we had to operate for 10 to 12 hours a day. In the beginning, it was much more difficult but by practicing it He became skilled in his field and he started loving his profession. His wife Lucy was also a doctor and medical specialist. Both Paul and his wife were so busy that they couldn't give proper time to their relationship and so there came a gap in their relationship. One day they planned to go somewhere and in the meantime Lucy denied to go with him and asked him to give her some space alone. Paul thought that his marriage was going to be over now.
So he went alone on a trip. This was the story Paul told about his journey he was in the 6th year of neurosurgery at that time.
The story continues.! the readers and my friends and I'll share the whole story with you gradually. I read till that part because of my schedule. I had to leave for the Library for my field studies.
After reading the book I left for the library where I use to do my studies. I feel comfortable in the Library to do my studies. Because of the silent environment, there are too many guys but everyone is absorbed in his studies. And if you need any book or any help you will get help from your friends or anyone else related to your field. In library I not only study the books related to my field but also the other books like History, Philosophy, Novels, and motivational books.
Reading is my hobby, It is said that reading enhances your knowledge and knowledge increases your thought. It is so true that Readers are the leaders. I read my field books and Dawn newspaper daily. By reading Dawn I get current affairs and new vocabulary. In the early time, it was very difficult for me to read it, But slowly and gradually I overcame it by writing and remembering vocabulary. If I have to remember anything I write that thing and read it. By doing this I get help to enhance my reading and writing ability. The library has become my routine thing and I have got many new friends as well in the library.
After coming back from the library I put my beg had a little rest. After that, I changed my dress, put on my shoes and went to the university near to my house. Let me tell you something about this university. This is DOW University of Medical Science. There is a beautiful playground in it where I use to do exercise. Firstly I walk there after having 4 to 5 rounds of walking, I have 2 and a half rounds of running too. In the playground, some boys play cricket and the other ones play football. And there are some guys who are sitting there on the grass having fun and gossiping. The ground is covered with trees. It's very beautiful scenery over there. Whenever I walk, run or do any kind of exercise I get fresh air. After doing an exercise I went to the canteen after passing a little time I drank a fresh glass of juice and came back to my Home sweet home.
Thank you for reading my diary friends. See you soon guys.
