Clearcoin Means Business
I glanced at CoinMarketCap this morning as I often do. You know, to check the BTC blood loss through the night. What surprised and delighted me was not the continued plummeting of everyone's favorite crypto, but a little ad banner just above the market valuation.
I'm Talking About Clearcoin
Clearcoin is going to huge things for the advertising industry, which has needed an overhaul for some time. They are a company that will facilitate relationships, ideas and transactions for every side of multimedia advertising, using the Clearcoin token.
They have an amazing team, a platform that will work with existing mainstream publishers (Facebook, Google, etc.), and an easy-to-read whitepaper that's rather exciting (for a whitepaper).
Why am I so happy to see their banner on CoinMarketCap?
They're putting their money where their mouth is. It can't be cheap to get that particular banner spot. Just think about that. This is an established company, with a substantial advertising budget and very tight plan for success. The problems that they're solving are beneficial to everyone, especially the creators of advertising content.
The Clearcoin token sale is happening now. It's scheduled to end March 31st, with the tokens being sold at that time for around $0.10 each. Every three days, there is a price increase, the amount of which is determined based on supply and demand. 49% of the tokens have been sold, and the current price is $0.0311. So the price is basically scheduled to triple by the end of the token sale, but that's not my favorite part...
good post
WELL, good one. Do you expect it to get on an exchange also?
That's the plan. After March, they should be exchange-traded, though I don't believe they've named exchanges yet. I bet they'll go straight to the larger ones (I'm hoping for Bittrex).
Sounds like a contender to BAT (Basic Attention Token). May want to research that coin as well. They are supposed to start awarding people BAT for allowing BAT based advertising through on the Brave browser. So maybe a little different, but if it is similar the current price of BAT should be an indication of where this coin might go one day.
It's a little similar to BAT, with the main difference being that Brave is a browser, and Cleacoin is an advertising platform. Clearcoin will work with existing publishers, including the mainstream ones. So businesses should be able to use Clearcoin to advertise on Brave. Their whitepaper has a lot of good data about how much is up for grabs in the digital advertising space.
Any solid project that solves advertising problems is a good bet right now for sure :)
Pretty sure BAT plans to sell advertising as well, but could be wrong. Not trying to talk you out of a solid investment if you believe in it. I was just wanting to share a project I thought was similar is all. Best of luck and may we all make millions to one day retire and be able to spend the rest of our lives spreading the good word of Crypto. :D
Yeah, I should probably get some more BAT too. I had some several months ago, but I got out with a moderate gain. :)
woo!
I heard you're gonna appear on @meno's show this week! Can't wait. :)
BTW, I just finished a new song, called Shitty Comments :D
cool, I will check it out! Have you received your clearcoin yet? I was expecting an email or something about depositing it in a wallet or something....have i missed a trick?
They're in the built-in wallet. It was created when you made an account at clearcoin.co.
Here's the website's answer to the question: Where are tokens sent during the token sale?
"CLR tokens bought during the token sale are sent to a built-in platform wallet that is assigned to you. The built-in platform wallet is secured and encrypted. Your account owns the built-in platform wallet. This is similar to how your coins and tokens are stored on exchanges like Coinbase, Kraken, and Binance. On these platforms, the private keys are hidden but the wallet and the account belong to you. By the end of the token sale, you will be able to move CLR tokens to other ERC20 compatible wallets."
So you've aready go them, but can't move them until after the token sale :)
ahhhaaa, I knew Id read SOMETHING like that......great, thankyou for this! I feel reassured :)
