Cleaning Our Planet with @cleanplanet

We picked up more trash on our sunny run today!

We do this every day at the @gardenofeden, but thanks to @quinneaker & @cleanplanet, now I'm aware of an initiative that rewards what could be our high standards and shared responsibility for honoring the Earth!

You just document yourself protecting our environment by collecting garbage, make sure to get a date verification photo and putting it in the bin, and post it to the blockchain!

At first glance it seemed like the route we choose was pretty clean, but closer inspection revealed plastics, styrofoams, and metals stuck in bushes and in drainage ditches. Some of that shit was hard to get to because there were wild thorny blackberry bushes and briars.

But we had great fun and succeeded. We collected 2 bags each today! It also made me take closer notice of the beautiful, nutritious, and medicinal wild plants that grow all along the path. Thankfully there is always something to appreciate 💗

@quinneaker and his awesome children inspired me to get involved, and I hope my post will inspire someone else to remember that they too can make a difference!
