Today history is again being made in Venezuela, during the CONCERT TO CELEBRATE 1,000,000 CHILDREN IN THE NATIONAL SYSTEM OF ORCHES AND CHORUSES OF VENEZUELA, in homage to Maestro José Antonio Abreu (R.I.P. 24/03/18), 10,701 musicians were on stage together. Largest orchestra in the world, made up of young people and children playing instruments and choir members at the same time. During the event held at the Poliedro in Caracas and directed by Eduardo Méndez and the excellent young directors, future followers of Gustavo Dudamel and Diego Matheus.
Hoy nuevamente se hace historia en Venezuela, durante el CONCIERTO PARA CELEBRAR 1.000.000 DE NIÑOS Y NIÑAS EN EL SISTEMA NACIONAL DE ORQUESTAS Y COROS JUVENILES E INFANTILES DE VENEZUELA, en homenaje al Maestro José Antonio Abreu (R.I.P. 24/03/18), estuvieron en escena 10.701 músicos en forma conjunta. Orquesta más grande a nivel mundial conformada en forma simultánea por jóvenes y niños ejecutantes de instrumentos y miembros de la coral. Durante el evento llevado a cabo en el Poliedro de Caracas y dirigida por Eduardo Méndez

Cabe destacar que para el año 1998, el Sistema Nacional de Orquesta contaba con 87.000 jóvenes y niños

The Zulia State Symphonic Rock Orchestra performed MetallicA's Enter Sandman and the Simón Bolívar Latino-Caribbean Orchestra, which delighted the audience with their varied Caribbean repertoire.
