I find more colors in the night

I was in Manila for a Figure Skating competition, but since it was 2 days after this photo was taken, we decided to go around on a photo walk. It unfortunately rained, but when you take instagram friends with you, rain or shine, it's gonna be pushed through. This photo was taken by Quiapo. Usually, this place is pretty crowded during weekends, but with the late hours and rain combined, it was barren. It's hard to photograph at night, and photos get especially ruined by the flash. I love the help I got from the city lights and the headlights of the jeepney. Increase the ISO and increase shutter speed as well.

There's just something about the night. There are colors not visible in the morning, so enigmatic and comforting. Walking around, enveloped by the light of the night, there's a peaceful hum that gets drowned by the hustle and bustle of the city, but not when you stroll around in the late hours. It is during these times when I truly realize that not all those who wander, are lost.
