Ambato, also known as San Juan Bautista de Ambato, is an Ecuadorian city; Cantonal capital of Canton Ambato and capital of the Province of Tungurahua.

The canton Riobamba is an Ecuadorian subnational territorial entity, of the Province of Chimborazo. Its cantonal head is the city of Riobamba, place where most of its population is grouped.

Baños de Agua Santa is a town in the province of Tungurahua, in Ecuador. It is the gateway to the Amazon basin. It is known for being the starting point of the routes that cross the Tungurahua, an active volcano located to the south, and for its sources of thermal waters rich in minerals. In the Basilica of Our Lady of Holy Water Baths there are frescoes with images of miracles attributed to the Virgin Mary. To the east are the Pailón del Diablo and the waterfall of Agoyán, two impressive waterfalls of the Pastaza River.
