History Of CIA Attempted Coups In Syria And How They Created ISIS

 The CIA has a  dark dirty history of wanting to overthrow regimes but none is more  notorious then its constant plans to want to overthrow the Syrian  regime.

It  isn’t just the current Assad government, the CIA has been trying to  overthrow various Syrian presidents throughout history from as far back  as March of 1949, when Syria was under the rule of President Shukri  al-Kuwatli.

A  bloodless coup took place on March 29th according to CIA agent and  former Damascus station chief, Miles Copeland. The CIA plan called for  the use of Husni al-Za’im, former Cheif of Staff of the Syrian Army as  their man to overthrow then President Shukri al-Kuwatli.

The  CIA backed coup destroyed Syria and plunged it into years of political  instability and chaos destabilizing the middle east. Setting a precedent  for the coming future of the country.

This  coup was subsequently followed by several more coups in the years to  come including — Operation Straggle, Operation Wappen and several assassination plots that eventually led to the rise of Hafez al-Assad being elevated to power in 1971.

The  CIA then planned to overthrow Hafez al-Assad, the father of current  President Bashar-al Assad. A CIA report from September, 1983 outlined  the U.S. goal of destabilizing Syria and opening a two front war  against the country to put pressure on and overthrow Hafez al-Assad’s  Government.

The  1983 secret report called for a U.S. covert operation to utilize a  U.S.-allied Iraq as a base of attack on Syria, “Iraq might supply them  with sufficient weapons to launch a civil war,” the analysis said.

While another document in 1986 entitled: “Syria: Scenarios of Dramatic Political Change” authored by the Foreign Subversion and Instability Center, a part of the CIA’s Mission Center for Global Issues.  Stated an analysis of “a number of possible scenarios that could lead  to the ouster of President Assad Bashar al-Assad’s father, Hafez or  other dramatic change in Syria,” for an oil pipeline.

This brings us to current day with the release of Hillary Clinton’s emails. Within Hillary’s emails from 2001 is the discussion of plans to overthrow both the Syrian Government and Iranian Government.

While reading the plans keep in mind that in 2007 four star NATO General  Wesley Clark said that in 2001 mere weeks after 911 wars were planned to  invade 7 countries within 5 years which included Syria and Iran. In  2001, Clinton would have been a New York Senator not Secretary Of State.  So why discuss these plans with her?

This  means that in early January 2001, there were plans in the works to  begin plotting how to overthrow Assad. This document validates General  Wesley Clark's statement that wars were planned by high up people in the  Pentagon/Washington. More so they were planned way before September  11th.

Deepstate  or the shadow government of elitist interest that has embedded itself  within Washington has a vested interest in destabilizing Syria and the middle east to continue an endless war for the Military Industrial  Complex. This is further proved by yet again more leaked emails from  U.S. diplomatic cables from 2006 which we will talk about more later.

In other Clinton emails dated 2012 a state department employee emails Clinton and tells her “AQ is on our side in Syria, otherwise, things have basically turned out as expected.”

Now to understand what Sullivan means by saying “AQ is on our side in Syria.” You have to understand the deepstate weapons smuggling that was going on years before in Libya, Benghazi that poured over into Syria. Marc Turi a former arms dealer threatened  to expose the plan to arm anti- Qaddafi rebels against the former  Libyan leader. At the height of the Arab Spring, a CIA covert weapons  program involved sending weapons to Qatar who would then funnel them  into Libya and other Arab countries. This is why Hillary said in an  email that Saudi Arabia was funding ISIL, she organized it all according  to Turi she knew what was going on. Proof of this is that years later  in 2015 Clinton’s State Department approved a U.S. weapons shipment to Libya despite a ban.

You  also have to understand the full situation in Syria. First off it’s  always been Sunni v.s. Shiite it’s a civil war and divide that has been  going on for 1,400 years.  Next you have to know the key players the Free Syrian Army is riddled  with connections to extremist groups Al-Nusra and Al-Qaeda which is  essentially now ISIS since the groups began merging in 2014 until  present day.

As  admitted recently by Tulsi Gabbard on CNN there are no more “moderate  rebels” there likely probably never was any as fighter affiliation in  Syria is murky. This is documentable — Reuters had reported in 2012 that the FSA’s command was dominated by Islamic extremists, and the New York Times had reported that same year  that the majority of the weapons that Washington sent into Syria was  ending up in the hands of jihadists. For two years the U.S. government  knew and continued sending in arms. In June of 2014 the Telegraph  reported Al-Nusra merged with ISIS at the border between Iraq and Syria.  Then in 2015, U.S. General Lloyd Austin told Congress that only four or  five U.S.-trained Syrian rebels were still fighting in Syria. We spent  $500 million dollars training and arming “moderate rebels” to end up  with only a hand full left.

Once  you understand that ISIS was/is a tool, you’ll see the geopolitical  ramifications and how several governments have used the terror group in  the middle east for their own gain through funding them or sending them  weapons to destabilize Syria and ultimately the middle east.

This was the goal, as a leaked Pentagon report  revealed that the military deepstate wanted to once again arm jihadist  to fight back against the country’s current regime President Bashar-al  Assad. This report was confirmed by several ex-U.S. intelligence officials who know the inner workings of the government.

This is the same broken record playing from the last time the CIA armed jihadist. They armed the Taliban i.e. Mujaheddin during Operation Cyclone  which eventually created the terror group known today as Al-Qaeda by  propping up Osama Bin Laden aka CIA tactician Tim Osman. Why did the CIA  arm jihadist? To fight back against their “nemesis” the Soviet Union in  response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. All in support of the  pro-Communist government of Babrak Kamalin, a proxy war where the U.S.  wasn’t directly involved physically militarily with troops but only  invested through weapons to mercenaries just like today.

With  the active encouragement of the CIA and Pakistan’s ISI (Inter Services  Intelligence), who wanted to turn the Afghan jihad into a global war  waged by all Muslim states against the Soviet Union, 35,000 some Muslim  radicals from 40 Islamic countries joined Afghanistan’s fight between  1982 and 1992. Tens of thousands more came to study in Pakistani  madrasahs. Eventually more than 100,000 foreign Muslim radicals were  directly influenced by the Afghan jihad.

In March 1985, President Ronald Reagan signed the National Security Decision Directive 166  which stepped-up covert military aid to the mujahideen, making it clear  that the secret Afghan war had a new goal: to defeat Soviet troops in  Afghanistan through covert military action.

So  this time around the CIA knew what they were doing arming “moderate  rebels” in Syria and what the outcome would be — destabilization. In  fact, they knew way more as Podesta emails from 2014 reveal discussing  moving around ISIS and ISIL i.e. the “moderate rebels” via control by  KSA and Qatar, to weaken and overthrow president Assad solidifying the  leaked Pentagon report as factual. “The governments of Qatar and Saudi  Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support  to ISIL.”

In 2010, Clinton’s top aide said  that up to $60 billion dollars in weapons transfers of fighter jets and  helicopters to Saudi Arabia was a “top priority.” As weapons flowed  into Libya from a conduit in Saudi Arabia and Qatar through a CIA  sanctioned program is it really out of the realm of possibility weapons  also flowed into Syria? Well, the New York Times documented exactly that under the Obama administration stating that the CIA used Saudi Arabia to fund the rebels in Syria.

After all Saudi Arabia was committed to overthrowing the Syrian government “by all means available.”

“ The  fact must be stressed that in the case where the Syrian regime is able  to pass through its current crisis in any shape or form, the primary  goal that it will pursue is to take revenge on the countries that stood  against it, with the Kingdom [of Saudi Arabia] and some of the countries  of the Gulf coming at the top of the list. If we take into account the  extent of this regime’s brutality and viciousness and its lack of  hesitancy to resort to any means to realize its aims, then the situation  will reach a high degree of danger for the Kingdom, which must seek by all means available and all possible ways to overthrow the current regime in Syria.”

Qatar has given between $1 million and $5 million to the Clinton Foundation and Saudi Arabia has donated upwards of $25 million dollars to the Foundation.

Additionally,  under Clinton’s state department in 2011 and the previous George Bush  administration the CIA secretly financed Syrian political opposition  groups and related projects, including a satellite TV channel Barada TV according to diplomatic cables released by Wikileaks. While another 2006 cable  reveals the Bush administration tried to award $5 million in grants to  “accelerate the work of reformers in Syria.” But no dissidents inside  Syria were willing to take the money, fearing it would lead to their  arrest or execution for treason.

Thanks  to Jeremy Hammond and Wikileaks releasing the Stratfor files it’s known  British and American special forces were already on the ground advising  anti-Assad militants in the first year of the current Syrian conflict.  Which coincidentally enough started in 2011, while the CIA was running  an ongoing propaganda campaign in Syria.

Even more damning is a leaked U.S. diplomatic cable  from 2006 mentioned earlier in this article revealed by Wikileaks which  shows that the U.S. Embassy in Damascus had discussed plans to  destabilize the Assad government by exploiting “potential  vulnerabilities” 5 years before the conflict started.

It’s the same story over and over again from Panama in 1903 to Iran, 1953; Guatemala, 1954, to Congo, 1961; Vietnam, 1963, to Chile, 1973, to Iraq 2003, and so on.  Just different players and a different game board (Country) the end  goal is always regime change and overthrowing the leadership of a  country.

Next  we will look at chemical weapons attacks in Syria in the past.  Reasonable suspicion can be drawn that all the attacks were probably not  Assad yet alone those where it wouldn’t favor the Syrian President like  the recent attack on April, 4th, 2017. Were these attacks orchestrated  by the CIA or its proxy army ISIS terrorist to gain further  international support for overthrowing Assad in Syria?

Is  there any proof of such a claim? The short answer is no, there is not  unlike how previously we have documents and whistle-blowers to document  other cases in Syria. However, it doesn’t make sense that Assad would  gas his own people. After less then 6 months ago in January handing evidence of rebels using chemical weapons to the Hague and UN watchdog group OPCW. An assertion that IHS Conflict Monitor had made in November 2016, just a few months before. It’s also worth noting that ISIS has chemical weapons in it’s possession as I previously wrote about.

There  is also evidence that a prior chemical weapons attack may have been staged in Syria in 2013 according to leaked emails. Which state that Turkey and Ukraine helped facilitate a Washington backed false flag chemical warfare attack  on Syria. Those emails were sent to me in 2013 I released them and they  then went viral and were posted everywhere within days including on the  Dailymail and Yahoo.

Another fun fact to note is that the CIA has now admitted that in the 1950’s they hired Iranians to pose as Communists and stage bombings  in Iran in order to turn the country against its democratically-elected  prime minister. So the argument the CIA would never arm terrorist let  alone give them explosives is null and void.
