The Shoes of Peace

A new king takes the throne and his first act was to destroy all the idols. Which led to ten years of peace. Peace is one of those things that cannot be given, cannot be purchased, it is only God can give. Supernatural and spiritual peace.

The world freedom is the lack of war

God peace is in addition to what you have not the lack of. You could have money, fame, people, and lack peace. How often do we ask for peace and is given it? Often, when we don’t know what to do with it we misuse it.

How often do overwork ourselves and when given time off we go on vacation and return tired? In need of a vacation from our vacation. God wants us to be careful with your peace and your rest. When you seek peace and receive it, how often do you stop seeking? When you have peace, you need to be praying, you need to seek, you need to be preparing for what’s to come.

Favor

Isn’t when all is well, but when you have peace and know that life is a roller coaster.

In the moment or season of peace the walls you build is to protect from the wrong opportunity comes your way, when the wrong people try to involve themselves with you, a season of peace is to build walls to ensure only goodness continues to come in.

When you have peace it comes from within.

If you know there is something wrong from within even if everything is right your actions convey otherwise. When you react with bitterness, with your anger, etc your reactions change to what is around you.

Your faith in God is literal power in your life. Pay attention to your works to see the faith in your life. By David’s work, we see the fruit of his faith.

Faith and works will change the way you act.

Knowledge is power

You can create fear by sharing information you know that others don’t know about. This creates power over people through fear. This is where the enemy operates and dwells. We pray for the little, but not the big and scary. We will pray for a cold, but not for cancer. We will pray for a sprained ankle, but not for what we fear cannot be healed.

There is something about not seeing and believing that moves the spiritual world. Never is it your knowledge that heals you, that saves you, but faith. Your faith will heal you. Your faith will save you. You have the knowledge, but don’t believe and that’s why there is no change.

James 2:22

Put it to the test. Your faith has made you whole. When you understand your situation it helps you understand it, but not overcome it. You need to have faith and believe to do that. When the pastor looks at church, he sees people ready to see another fall on their knees. Not often we ourselves aren’t ready to fall in our knees and call out for revival, for a miracle, for change in themselves.

Outnumbered, he had farmers, not soldiers

2 Chronicle 15:2, when you start walking away from God you can come back. There is a checkpoint “word” that reminds you of the point where you left not the point you got lost. There is no fear in God. I will make your enemies your footstool.

Called to greater things; what’s your checkpoint work or phrase?

Remember it and it will keep you on track. Remember it and it will remind you of the point you left. Our actions when lacking internal peace led us to seek help from others. It will lead to reactions that go against the blessing God bestowed upon you.

When you are in peace inside it changes how you view your circumstances around you. It leaves you so unmoved from whatever is going on around you because you have internal peace.

Remember the armor God has given you! The helmet, the sword, the shoes of peace. What are you holding on to that is cause turmoil in your life?

When you are not at peace with God you won’t speak as often as you used to and you won’t seek as often. When the most important relationship in your life lacks these two areas then you lose the internal peace.
