Chromebooks, will they take over laptop sales?
The Google Chromebooks have been out for a while and they are essentially a laptop that is using the Chrome browser as the operating system. I've heard of people booting up Linux with their Chromeboooks as it is a versatile piece of hardware.
You can essentially do most of your computing tasks by using Google docs which is like a generic version of a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation application, etc...
Since a lot of people are generally surfing the net when logged in from home, it makes sense to have a laptop that is specifically for that purpose. They have a solid state drive and they boot up within seconds. There are USB ports, HDMI output and pretty good battery life, all for under $250...
The specs for the 2018 Acer Chromebook 15.6" looks pretty good.
I'll probably end up purchasing one and testing it out. They have pretty good reviews and for the price, it appears as a solid unit with great value. I personally think Chromebooks will continue to eat away at both PC and Mac laptops and notebooks.
When/If I do get one, a review will be posted for sure.

If google create the program like photoshop on the chrome, everyone will use this for sure. :)
