We also have a family tradition to eat lunch at my parents house on Sundays, they always have the lunch, we just need to let them know if we will attend. In this way the entire family gets together regularly. (Obviously we cannot be at my parents house all the time as all of us are married and need to attend to our spouses families as well.)
That is awesome. I really need to get back in this habit and make it a permanent thing. I am really happy for you and your family.
