HELPING SOME CHORI CHILDREN BY MEETING THEIR CHRISTMAS NEEDS
What is Christmas to me?
Christmas is a season to be thankful. It is to me a season of joy, happiness and fun.
What I Decided To Do For Some Kids
I am currently in Chori, a village in kaduna where I am currently farming ginger. The villagers here are poor and depend on farming to survive.
The kids here do not have good educational background, so I decided to start coaching them for at least 3 hours everyday and they have improved immensely in the past 2weeks.
I heard from one of the kids that their mum was supposed to travel to Kaduna to go and meet someone to ask for some money, so that they can have some money to use for their Christmas celebration.
I was touched and then I realised that some people actually have great dreams for Christmas but don't have the funds to make it a remarkable celebration.
So I jokingly asked their mum how much she would need to have a good celebration. She said N10,000 which is about 2.2SBD. I was amazed at how the whole family would manage such little amount throughout the Christmas and New Year Period.
I decided to give them a surprise they weren't expecting. I did it this morning. I called the mum and all of her kids. I gave her N25,000 and gave the children N15,000 altogether according to their ages and Christmas needs.
Because I will be leaving the village today, I decided to surprise her and the kids today. I was stunned at the way they appreciated this little token of mine. It was as if I gave her a million. She appreciated it and prayed so much for me.
The kids were very excited. They said they will miss me. I felt so fulfilled that I was able to bless a family and make their Christmas a great experience. I hope to give them big and greater surprises in years to come.
What You Can Do
It doesn't necessarily have to be everything you have. It can be as little as very little, but that very little can be someone else's dream. Make someone happy this season. Make it an unforgettable Christmas for somebody if you can. Let's impact our world and let's bless lives.

The kids wanted to get some new cloths and shoes, so I gave them N15,000 for that. I also gave their mum some money for their Christmas needs.
