My Christmas celebration was too casual that there is even nothing to say to tell you how It went. I was just in-doors on steemit.😄

Oh, we've got to get you together with friends or family for next year! Hey, if you're on skype you can skype into wherever I am that day so at least we can have a little Xmas chat!
Yeah, unfortunate timing for her as well, with so many people visiting for Xmas and her son going off to the military just a few days after her accident. But we do believe everything is a blessing, even if in disguise.
OK. I can work the Skype out for next Christmas. That sounds like fun. 😄

Yeah, I'm just relieved she can still live her life, even if she is having problems with vision needed for reading. She could have been hurt worse given the car was totaled.
Life keeps presenting us all with opportunities to decide our attitude.
My Christmas was only usual really, and I see yours was really eventful, accidents happen really but I'm glad it wasn't so threatening and she's okay really I'm so glad about that, what are your new year eve plans? meanwhile I saw the 5 steem sent to me, what a surprise, thank you

Do you mostly spend Xmas with a family dinner? That's what my family did, but so far away I couldn't be there.
New Year's I have a meditation event the evening then supposedly going to a Native American ceremony early the next morning. We'll see if I actually leave the house. It's expected to be well below zero that morning!
Mostly we have a loose family system, everyone here care only about their nuclear family, so I really will spend my time alone, and well meditation is really such a brilliant idea I think I may even consider it.
Meditation is the secret to success. It's what provides openings for the guidance to get in that leads us to stunning opportunities. But then you already write poetry. What you do when you're letting in that feeling of the poetry, that's a type of meditation too.
Non expected things do happens, may God just save us from bad accidents. I hope she get better and her sight come back to normal
Enjoy yourself over there, there may not be another chance to enjoy cos this life is just once and no one knows what could happen tomorrow
Indeed, we never know what is around the corner. We can only be grateful for whatever comes and have faith that we are always being blessed, even if it isn't obvious.

Yes, my sister Colette is having a challenging time, but that is what allows us to live our faith, as she is doing. So her spirits are rebounding, and I suspect she will be completely physically well again in time.

I always prefer a low key Christmas but it's hard to convince family. Now I am trying to build up my funds again as well as lose weight! Oh well once a year doesn't hurt I guess!

Sounds like you had a nice Christmas. We just started face timing with our children, what a great way to stay in touch. Silver for gifts, did the same thing for gifts myself. The little ones don't get too excited, but we couple the silver with a little toy.
As they get older these types of gifts will be appreciated more.

Yeah, my nieces and nephews are all teens and young adults, so they really get the value of money, even if they have to hold it as an investment instead of spending it! When they were younger toys would definitely have been the smile bringers.
