Christmas/Eve from the perspective of an Atheist.
This year, I preface it with gratitude for where I am now compared to where I was a year ago. Much uncertainty awaits me on our return, but right now I sit here after a fantastic day, feeling great, listening to this duo beautifully cover "Landslide" and reducing me to tears in the process... Well let's just stick with gratitude. It might soon be time to fight again, but I'm here, I'm living and loving, and I'm enjoying the peace of Christmas Eve in this gorgeous place with my favourite person on the planet.
As an atheist, I don't celebrate Christmas, but I've always liked Christmas Eve. It feels like the world takes a deep breath and everything is quiet and peaceful. It’s as if we call "time out" in the endless race that is life in the modern world. For one night anyway, we come a little closer to knowing what peace feels like. Perhaps that will make us redouble our efforts to bring peace to all the world, and on every day not just one. And maybe, just maybe, it will remind us that the goal of peace is one that, despite our differences, most of humanity shares. As we move into a new year, renewing our commitment to dealing with our fellow humans with a spirit of generosity, good faith, and peace, in all the social spaces we share, would sure be a good start in achieving that goal.

Merry xmas to you. I was an aethiest for years until a near death experience. I frantically prayed to GOD and I miraculously survived so I am using my precious time to attempt to expose a very well organized corrupt Satanic organization: Freemasons/Illuminati. I have been asked several times to join them. I politely declined and broke off my relationships with them. They are present in most countries and cities.
