THE CHOOSEN VESSEL

Good day everyone,

Text: 1 Peter 2:9-10 , John 15:16.

A vessel is a container that holds liquid and can be referred to as ship or large boat.

In the context, vessel here is reffered to as human or a person that is used for a particular purpose.

God is the ultimate vessel builder. His purpose for us is to bear fruit John 15:16. He wants us to shine his light Mathew 5 :14-16.

To acheive his purpose, we must;

1. Not jump the trainning process. 1 kings 6:7

2. Abide in him John 15:4-8

3. Totally depend on him 2 Corithians 4:6-10.

4. Be ready to make sacrifice Phil 4:11-12.

5. Be filled with the Holy-Spirit. Acts 1:4-8

6. Desire the mantle and not title.

7. Desire the function and not the fashion.

8. Go for fulfillment and not just the enjoyment.

9. Perform your duty dont just be busy.

10. Be committed even when its not convenient.

God does not make mistakes at his choice and He always have a replacements/alternatives. Luke 3:8.
