Whether You Pray or Not, It Is Hard to Get away from

제가 그동안 악한 영들의 보통명사인 귀신에 대한 정보를 제공하는 글을 많이 써왔지만, 앞으로는 생각으로 속여서 공격하는 미혹의 영에 대한 계략을 집중적으로 밝히려고 합니다 .
I have been uploading columns that provide information on demons, but I would like to talk more about spirits of falsehood more now.

왜냐면 그동안 사람들이 귀신에 대한 무지와 오해, 혹은 잘못된 정보들이 난무하고 있기 때문입니다.
I'm doing this because there are so many false info about demons that people just buy into, because they do not know about demons.

그래서 귀신이라는 단어에 대한 고정관념을 벗기기가 힘들어, 아예 고급 영이자 마귀급인 미혹의 영을 집중적으로 상대하려고 합니다.
And it is not easy to erase the image 'demons' give out, from various media, so I would like to focus on talking about spirits of falsehood specifically.

어차피 미혹의 영의 공격을 모르면 이들의 손아귀에서 벗어날 수 없기 때문이죠.
You can't get away from them if you don't know how they attack, anyway.

오늘의 칼럼의 제목은 기이하기 짝이 없습니다.
The title of this column is just strange.

기도하는 사람들이나 안 하는 사람들이나, 미혹의 영의 손아귀에서 벗어날 수 없다는 섬뜩한 내용이기 때문입니다.
Whether you pray or not, you can't get away from spirits of falsehood. How scary is that?

기도하지 않는 사람들은 그렇다 치고, 왜 기도하는 사람들조차 미혹의 영에서 벗어날 수 없다는 것일까요?
People who don't pray are... understandable. But why would people who pray not be able to get away from spirits of falsehood?

그래서 오늘은 그 이유에 대해 찬찬히 살펴보고 싶습니다.
So I would like to take a look at why that is.

먼저, 기도하지 않는 사람들은 천국에 들어갈 수 없습니다.
First of all, people who don't pray cannot enter Heaven.

왜냐면 성경에는 쉬지 않고 기도하는 것이 하나님의 뜻이라고 명령하셨으며(살전5:17~18), 하나님의 뜻을 준행하지 않는 자들은 불법을 행한 자들이라고 밝히 말씀하셨기 때문이에요.(마7:21~23)
It is because praying incessantly is what God wants for us (1 Thessalonians 5: 17-18) and whoever does not follow what God said is doing evil deeds. (Matthew 7: 21-23)

불법을 행하는 자들은 죄를 짓는 자들입니다.
Evil deeds directly translates to sins.

그러니 죄인들이 천국에 들어갈 수 없는 것은 자명한 일이죠.
It is given that sinners cannot enter Heaven.

그러나 대다수의 교인들은 자신들이 전혀 기도를 하지 않고 있는 게 아니라, 나름대로 기도를 하고 있다는 것으로 안심하고 있어요.
Majority of Christians believe they are on the good side, since they pray, just not as much.

새벽기도나 작정기도, 특새(특별새벽기도회)라고 이름 붙여 새벽기도회에 참여하게 하므로, 일 년 동안 기도하지 않은 것에 대한 면죄부를 주기도 합니다.
And sometimes, they attend prayer meetings and comfort themselves, thinking they've prayed a year worth.

이는 가증한 일이에요.
This is just despicable.

하나님은 새벽기도회에 나와서 1,20분간 자신의 탐욕을 외치는 기도를 하는 것을 기뻐하시는 게 아니라, 쉬지 않고 자신과 깊고 친밀한 교제를 나누기를 원하십니다.
God wants to have a relationship with people who call out to him incessantly, not with someone that cries out what he/she wants .

그러므로 새벽기도회에 규칙적으로 나오든지 아니든지 간에, 쉬지 않고 하나님을 부르며 깊고 친밀한 교제를 나누지 않는 사람들은 죄다 지옥의 불길에 던져 질 겁니다.
So whether you attend prayer meetings or not, you will be thrown into Hell unless you call out to God incessantly.

그런 잣대에 의하면, 우리네 교인 중에서 천국에 들어가는 사람들은 거의 없을 겁니다.
According to the barometer, I don't think any Christians today will enter Heaven.

쉬지 않고 기도하는 이들이 없기 때문이에요.
It is because the don't pray incessantly.

제가 이 얘기를 하면, 어떻게 쉬지 않고 기도할 수 있습니까? 밥도 먹고 직장에 가서 일도 해야 하는데, 쉬지 않고 기도하는 것은 말도 안 되지 않나요? 라며 의구심을 갖는 이들이 있습니다.
Of course, when I say this, people ask, "How can you pray incessantly? I have to work, eat, sleep; that's just preposterous."

쉬지 않고 기도하는 것의 의미는, 틈만 나면 하나님을 부르며 찬양하고 감사하며 회개하며 경배하는 기도를 말합니다.
Praying "incessantly" means you call to God, praise and think him whenever you have a moment.

이는 예수님께서 종말의 날이 가까울수록 깨어서 항상 기도하라고 하신 의미와 동일합니다.
It is equivalent of Jesus commanding us to be awake, alert, and pray as the end is near.

즉 쉬지 않고 기도하는 것은, 깨어서 하나님 생각으로 가득차서 항상 기도를 쉬지 않는 것을 말하죠.
In other words, praying incessantly means your head is filled with thought of God and calling him non-stop.

그렇다면 새벽기도회에 가서 겨우 1,20분간, 그것도 하나님의 뜻이 아니라 자신의 욕망을 채우는 기도를 하는 게 하나님의 뜻일까요?
Does that include praying for 10-20 minutes at the prayer meetings, asking God for whatever you'd like in this world?

예전에 성령님께서 필자에게, 하루에 1시간도 기도하지 않는 자들이 어떻게 나를 만나겠냐고 말씀하신 적이 있습니다.
The Holy Spirit has ask me how would it be possible for people to meet him, if they don't even pray an hour a day?

또한 이틀만 기도하지 않아도 성령께서 떠나신다고도 말씀하셨어요.
He also told me he leaves people if they stop praying, even if it is only for a couple days.

대다수의 우리네 교인들은 제 주장이 이단사설이라고 일축할지 모르지만, 저는 성경에 있는 말씀을 그대로 옮겨놓을 뿐입니다.
Many Christians may say I am just like those cult leaders, but I am just repeating what the Bible says so.

그러므로 제 주장이 성경적인지, 우리네 교회의 관행이 성경적인지 분별하는 것은 여러분의 몫입니다.
It is your choice to decide whether what I say is biblical or not.

미혹의 영은 우리네 교인들에게 세속적이고 게으른 마음을 주어서, 하나님을 만나는 기도를 못하게 하는 계략을 써서 잠들게 하고 있습니다.
Spirits of falsehood give laziness and worldly mindsets to people; they distract people from trying to meet God.

그렇다면 두 번째로, 열심히 기도하는 사람들이 왜 미혹의 영에 속고 있느냐 하는 겁니다.
Second, let's figure out why people are deceived by spirits of falsehood, even though they pray very hard.

먼저 기도하는 내용이 하나님의 뜻에 합당해야 하는 데, 대다수의 교인들은 하나님의 뜻이 아니라 자신들의 세속적인 소원을 이루는 기도를 하고 있습니다.
The prayer must meet what God asks for, but majority of Christians often pray about

하나님이 원하시는 기도가 아니라면, 죄다 탐욕을 채우는 수단일 뿐이며 하나님 앞에 가증스러울 뿐입니다.
If it is not what God wants, it is just a way to get what they desire, and that is despicable in front of God.

또한 방언으로 기도하는 것도 분별해야 합니다.
You should also distinguish praying in tongues.

기도란 하나님과 자신이 깊고 친밀한 교제를 나누는 통로입니다.
Prayer is a way of communication between you and God, to keep a close relationship.

그런데 방언으로 기도하는 사람은 자신도 알 수 없는 내용으로 말하고 있으니 기가 막히는 일입니다.
And it seems funny to speak in tongues, when the person doesn't even know what it means.

방언은 세상 사람들에게 하나님의 존재를 알리기 위한 은사이지, 다른 사람에게 자신의 의를 드러내거나 기도를 편하게 하는 수단으로 방언을 한다면 가증스러운 일입니다.
Tongues are gift to show the world that God exists; they were never meant to be used as a way to boast one's faith or make prayer easy.

물론 이런 방언은 성령이 주시는 게 아닙니다.
Of course, these tongues are not given by the Holy Spirit.

자의적으로 지어냈거나 귀신이 주는 방언일 겁니다.
It is either an arbitrary garble or something demons gave.

그래서 방언을 오래 하는 사람들도 거룩한 성품으로 변화하지 않으며, 다른 성령의 증거나 능력, 열매가 없이 기도시간을 채우는 방편으로 사용하고 있으니 기가 막히는 일입니다.
That is why people who have been praying in tongues do not go through changes as people of the Spirit. It is pathetic to see them speak in tongues in order to extend their amount of prayer.

그러나 영성학교에서 기도훈련을 받은 사람들은 위에 해당사항이 없이, 쉬지 않고 하나님의 뜻을 전심으로 기도하고 있을 겁니다.
But people at CSA probably don't belong to any of these categories mentioned; and I'm sure they call out to God incessantly.

그렇다면 미혹의 영은 훈련생들에게 어떤 공격으로 속일까요?
Then how would spirits of falsehood deceive and attack them?

울 훈련생들에게 가장 많이 속이는 게 바로 자기 의와 자기만족을 넣어주어 죄를 짓게 하는 것입니다.
The most common tactic used to deceive the trainees is to fill their heads with self-assurance and self-satisfaction.

말하자면, 예전에 비해 기도습관도 많이 들였고, 그동안 기도응답을 받은 것도 적지 않고, 고질병도 낫고 귀신도 많이 나갔으며, 마음에 기쁨과 평안이 들어왔다고 생각하며, 이러한 증상이 하나님이 자신의 기도를 기뻐하시며 성령이 내주하신 증거로 여기면서 지극히 만족해하고 있다는 것이죠.
To list some examples: prayer has gotten better than before; many of them were answered; illnesses are gone, as well as demons; there are joy and peace in heart and mind. They believe these are the signs the Holy Spirit is within them and are satisfied with the results.

물론 이런 증상이 성령이 주시는 선물이나 응답, 혹은 은혜로 주시는 현상일 수 있어요.
Yes, these could be gifts the Holy Spirit gives, just out of his goodness.

그러나 문제는 이런 생각이 자신이 열심히 기도한 대가이며, 자신이 혹독한 기도를 하여서 얻은 것이라는, 자기 의가 스멀스멀 올라오는 생각을 잡는다는 겁니다.
But the problem is that all these gifts are granted because of their endeavor, as a prize for their prayer, focusing on themselves rather than God.

40일을 금식하며 기도하거나 하루 종일 전심으로 기도하는게, 그게 뭐 대단한 일입니까?
What is so special about praying with all your heart for a day, or fasting for 40 days to pray?

그런 생각은 평생 새벽기도회에 한 번도 빠짐없이 나갔다고, 자랑스럽게 여기는 생각과 무에 다를까요?
What's so different about them, compared to boasting to others because you've attended early morning prayer meeting everyday?

죄다 자기만족에 빠져, 자신이 잘한다고 여기는 의를 드러내는 사악한 생각이며, 이는 미혹의 영이 넣어주어 하나님의 영광을 가로채는 가증스런 죄악 된 생각일 뿐입니다.
Those are just sinful thoughts of edifying yourself highly; and these are given to you by spirits of falsehood.

이렇게 기도를 열심히 하면 할수록, 미혹의 영은 자기 의와 자기만족의 생각을 넣어주어 속이는 공격을 집요하게 하고 있습니다.
The more you pray like this, the more attacks spirits of falsehood carry out to you.

그래서 기도를 열심히 하는 이들이 결국 이러한 미혹의 영의 공격에 속아 넘어가게 되지요.
And that is how people who pray fall into demons' traps.

우리 영성학교의 상당수의 졸업생이 혹독하게 기도하고 있는 데도, 왜 성령이 내주하는 증거와 열매가 지속적으로 나타나지 않을까요?
A lot of CSA's trainees have graduated and are still praying hard everyday; but why don't signs of the Spirit keep on showing?

바로 기도하면 할수록, 더욱 더 자기 의를 내세우며 자기만족에 빠지는 죄를 짓고 있기 때문입니다.
It is because they immerse themselves with self-satisfaction as they pray more.

그래서 오랫동안 기도해도 성령의 사람이 되지 않아요. 안타깝고 답답한 일이죠.
And that is why they do not become people of the Spirit. Truly sad sight to see.

예전에 성령께서 제게, 하나님의 이름을 부른다는 게 얼마나 아름다운 일이냐고 말씀하셨습니다.
The Holy Spirit once told me how beautiful it is to call out to God.

어찌 할 수 없는 죄악으로 죽을 수밖에 없는, 먼지만도 못한 우리를 불러주셔서 하나님을 부르고, 그분과 교제할 수 있도록 허락해 주셨다는 게 감사하고 감격해야 하지 않습니까?
He let us call out to him, us sinners; and he let us reach out to him and keep a close relationship with him.

그런데 은혜를 받으면 받을수록, 기도하는 습관이 붙으면 붙을수록 감사하고 영광을 돌리기는커녕, 거꾸로 자기 의를 내세우고 자기만족의 죄에 빠진다면 바리새인과 서기관과 다를 바가 무에 있겠는습니까?
But if we all fall into self-love and self-satisfaction, instead of thanking God and glorifying him, we are no better than the scribes and Pharisees.

이처럼 미혹의 영은 기도를 열정적으로 하는 사람들에게 교묘하게 공격하여, 하나님이 들어오시지 못하게 가로막고 있죠.
Spirits of falsehood cleverly attack people who pray hard like this, stopping God from coming to them.

그러므로 자기 의와 자기만족에 빠지지 않도록 경계하며, 이 같은 생각이 조금만이라도 들어오면, 속사포처럼 예수피로 쳐내는 습관을 들이지 않는다면 천국은 꿈도 꾸지 마시기 바랍니다.
So you must watch out, not to fall into demons' traps; if you have thoughts like this, make sure you get rid of them by pleading to blood of Jesus Christ.
