Generational blessings
GENERATIONAL BLESSINGS
Whatever blessings we have and hope to bequeath to our children after us would not be complete until we leave with them the legacy of the faith in Jesus Christ. Every other property can be plundered or taken away; but no one can take away the faith, virtues, values, knowledge or godliness we leave within them.

I don't believe in generational blessings. It's talked about in the Old Testament but not the New Testament.
You can show your children what a real Christian is by their daily observation of how you live. But you can't choose for them. I've seen a lot of Christians with adult children who have no interest in godly living or faith in Jesus Christ.
But Timothy's mother and grandmother played a kind of important role in his life, I believe it can still play out in this our own time.
