Finding the Cross

This photo was taken in Kelowna, Canada during a street photography session with a fellow photographer.

One technique that I use when taking candid shots during street photography is shooting from the hip! it takes a lot of patience as you are much less likely to nail focus or the framing. Although, when they do come together it often allows for shots that would otherwise be altered by the subject knowing they are about to have their photo taken.

When I was out shooting I didn't notice the cross (shadow) on the wall & when I got home I thought it was quite amazing.

Here we have a man clearly looking for something greater in life than himself, when all he needs to do is take off the sunglasses and find the cross.
