Jesus, The Light of The World

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. Genesis1:2-3

Where there's darkness, there's lack of form, disorderliness or chaos. This was the case in the beginning, but thank God for His light. The Spirit of God was present, but for darkness to give way for continuity, there must be light, that light is Christ. Brethren, it is possible to have God's Spirit and still lack order, clear direction of purpose or certainty in life. It's dangerous to be filled with the Spirit but lack the word of God! Thus, before Pentecost, God sent His word in the personality of Christ. That same word that brought light ( form and order) in the beginning, came to us as the only begotten of the Father, crying out " .......I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life"( John8:12). Darkness give way in the presence of God's word ( Christ). Jesus is that light, the word that was in the beginning, bringing order into every area of our lives. The Bible declares " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God"(John1:1). Nothing was created without Him ( John 1:3). Have you been struggling to fix your life without God's word in your spirit? Have you misused the gifts of the Spirit because of lack of God's word in you? Come back to Christ today, for He's the Divine orderliness you need.

Arise and take your stand, terminate the activities of darkness in your life. I speak order upon your life today, let every confusion and chaos be destroyed in Jesus name. The light of God that create new things is upon you from today. Watch out for your all round prosperity, for light has come. Watch out for victory, for darkness is destroyed from your root. You can't be the same, for the light of God propels you into a greater realm of revelatory knowledge in God. Let that light keep shinning and the guidance of God's Spirit shall be profitable at all times.

Let's pray together. Heavenly Father, thank you for your light, as experienced in Christ. Today we declare our oneness with Christ and denounce every involvement with darkness, and we shine forth forever, in Jesus name. Amen. You are now the light!
