COULD THIS BE A SIN?
Critical Issue
A Christian sister in a certain Church got pregnant, the Church decided to discipline her since she was not married.
When the elders of the Church met her, she told them that she has stayed in the Church for years and no one is marrying her and she is getting to the age where she can't get pregnant if married.
So she went and did artificial insemination since she wants a child. She provided the medical documents that showed that she has done the artificial insemination.
The Sister is pregnant without committing fornication nor adultery.
Not so?
BUT,
COULD THIS BE A SIN?

If possible back it with Scripture, so that we can learn.

She needs to leave that group and find a true body of believers, though that is most likely not possible today. What she did may be questionable but is not sin. Those who wish to discipline her and cause her stress are the ones who sin. Do they wish her to bring forth a child in doubt and regret? Let her bring forth her child in love and joy.
We cannot change what is done but we can grow from it. Even if this was a sin, it is not a sin unto death. If they pray, she shall be forgiven.

This is an interesting question...I would assume though, that since it's not really, you know...natural...the bible might forbid it. I can't think of any bible verse that would confirm or deny though.
Strange question, indeed...
The Bible does not directly address every single thing that we may invent or do or think or say or so on, but it does give us a framework or mindset for living better & for aligning to the will of Christ. Sin means not perfect. We are not perfect. Sin does not only mean a violation of a law. It means depravity as well. I believe in being as natural as possible. I do not like GMO.

Sin means not perfect. Sin was described with the help of the law. When we break the law, it shows us like a mirror, as in Romans, that we have sin and not simply that we do sin. We are of sin which means we are not God. We asked Christ to save us because only God can give us a new heart.

Salvation and justification and sanctification and glorification and ramification is all about becoming like Christ as in like God.

Everything is sin and that is simply because sin is not really a bad action or act but rather a condition of being separated from God and everything.

We are to ask Christ to save us and then God comes inside of us to help us do good because we are good because of God and not because of us.

Artificial insemination may not be considered a direct violation of a law, a rule, maybe, from the ten commandments or other commandments and other things from the Bible or other places.

Technically speaking, you can become too technical like Pharisees and Sadducees to look too close to the letter of the law as opposed to the spirit or root of the law to what it really means and I do not mean like secret knowledge like some may suggest.

I would talk to more doctors and scientists about the procedure of injecting sperm into women for pregnancy, for making babies, because it may not be a good idea and you should look at trying to be healthy. It might be better to adopt than to do something that might be maybe too unhealthy or counterproductive or risky or maybe other things too.........
