Christianity teaches us that the channel through which man can relay his requests, his pleas, intercession and supplication with divinity, and his means of getting divine counsel, direction and comfort is through prayer.

Prayer comes in different forms, depending on a person's needs or challenges, or personal relationship with God. The kind of access that a slave had to his master will not the same as the access that the master's child has to him. Even among children, closeness to the parents differ in many cases, thus the mode of interaction.

Life's situations, either they are natural or spiritual, respond to prayers. This is why every true child of God must embrace prayer as a weapon of warfare and as a channel of communion with God, building a father-son relationship.

The results of prayer sometimes defy human reasoning and can therefore not be explained at times. This is evident in various incredible testimonies often shared among Christians. These are the results of prayer. Those who stand watching or doubting the efficacy of prayer will only be onlookers when the results of prayer come for those who fervently seek God's face in times of need.
