The correct time to enter a new relationship

in #christian-trail5 years ago

Who likes to spend their life suffering from love? I think no one would say yes to that question. But it is a sad reality that youth have lived today. Purify your heart before allowing a new love to enter into it, because using a love to heal the other is a big mistake.

Would you eat on a dirty plate? Would you put on torn clothes to go to a party? Because when it comes to our heart, we insist on investing in a new love without first making sure that we completely overcome the previous novel?

In the biblical passage of Matthew 9:17 it says: No new wine is put in old wineskins. If someone does that, the skins go out, the wine is lost, and the skins are spoiled. On the contrary, the new wine is put in new bottles, and thus neither the wineskins nor the wine are lost.
Jesus uses that metaphor to refer to the coming Kingdom, but we can make an analogy between it and the human heart as if the new wine were a new novel and the old wineskin was a wounded heart from the previous novel.

It is interesting to wake up to the importance of purifying our heart of pain, frustrations, waste, and any kind of mazela from the previous relationship before embarking on a new love. I recommend the emotions take time. And if you want your next relationship to be healthy and lasting, you need to respect yourself and your emotions before moving forward.
Knowing the right time and reflecting on the point of becoming the best version of yourself, are some of the secrets to having stable relationships. But as the Bible says, our heart is deceitful (Jr 17: 9). When we are passionate, we are "blind" and when we least perceive, we are totally involved and only analyze the consequences later. Therefore, love with the brain and not with the heart.

About a year ago I lived the experience of the termination of a courtship and it was very painful. A few months later, a boy interested in me appeared, full of good intentions. He was super beautiful, interesting and "of God". I could have given in and got involved with him ... (who knows he helped me to forget the other, because after all it's what you think about getting involved with another person), but as the previous text says wine and the wineskin would be lost, that is, I would not be ready for a new love, both would still be injured (because I would not be whole and I was going to defraud the boy by feeding expectations that I could not fulfill at that moment). His heart was free and mine was partially occupied.

Therefore, we need to evaluate the whole context and not only act with our heart, but evaluate the consequences to protect ourselves and the other as well.
