LONELINESS
Who is the Lonely?
The word lonely can be described as: Someone who no longer enjoys the fellowship of the Trinity.
John 14:18 say.
We can also described it as someone who is sad because he has no friends or companions, an outcast, forsaken, unwanted, unloved and abandoned.
Loneliness is a great issue that God Himself assessed and concluded that it is not good
Now the Lord God said, It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper (suitable, adapted, complementary) for him. Genesis 2:18 (AMP).
Warning toward Loneliness.
One of the strategies Satan and his agents have used successfully against people is to give them reasons to believe everybody hates them.
It is dangerous to remain alone, just as it is said that the idle hand is the devil's workshop. Satan likes to keep company with those who are lonely.
Separate from an environment of accountability makes one vulnerable to evil plans. Being alone without positive engaging one's time can make the flesh or the devil to engage you. Secret sins thrive in lonely moment.
Who can discern his lapses and errors? Clear me from hidden [and unconscious] faults. Psalm 19:12 (AMP).
Remedy for Loneliness
- Maintain an environment of accountability where fellow believers can assist you to resist the devil and correct you when you are wrong.
- Live in the Spirit
- Watch your mind gate. Do not allow evil thought to play on your mind
