God answer to mans questions #54
Mans Question #54
Did Christ ever sin???
Answer
- No, Christ was holy, sinless, and undefiled.
Isaiah 53,9
He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.,
Hebrews 4:15; 7:26
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are yet he did not sin,
Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens
1 Peter 2:21-23
21. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
22. “He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.”
23. When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.. New International Version (NIV)
