RE: PERSONAL SPIRITUAL LIFE 4 - RESULTS OF SALVATION

He did it all! The conundrum I have is many think they are in the family and they are not. The saddest scripture in the Bible, in my opinion, is when He say, Mat 7:23 “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
These folks that called Him Lord, Lord, even prophesied in His Name. Lived and died with the false confidence they were right with God.
If a murderer confesses faith in Jesus, but says, “I just want to kill one more person!” Is this person truly saved? It sound funny, but there is fruit meet for repentance. There is an expectation and reality of a change that comes from the conversion. As we are studying James, his writings show an expectation of the believer. Reading John’s letters, he also shows an expectation of the true convert. The demoniac, after one meeting with Jesus, was clothed, in his right mind, sitting at the feet of Jesus,
Without a doubt I believe we are saved by grace. Our faith in the finished Work of Jesus. But there is always proof or fruit. The true convert cannot and will not remain in their habitual sin!
Just like the woman caught in adultery, the Words of Jesus rings true. “Go and sin no more!”
Some teach an outward holiness. Some teach a greasy easy grace. Neither one is balanced in the Word of God. True holiness is an internal work that will definitely be seen in our daily life.
Joh 15:2 “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”

Joh 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
