Contentment is not when you have everything is when you are grateful to God for what He has done. "a state of happiness and satisfaction." Great post brother @coolbowser.
The problem is that the humanity is never content. They always want more and more. We must be different because we know that we came with nothing and we will leave with nothing.
Being content is so hard in modern life especially. It seems advertising is aimed to make us want more, compare ourselves with others, leaving us feeling inadequate. This verse is so true! Thank you for the encouragement.
You got that 100% right! It is my selfish human nature that wants to win the Lottery and be a millionaire. Ive read many stories of those folks who win and the outcome of their lives are usually sorrowful and with regret...yet I still desire to win! How crazy the carnal heart can be. I need to die to self everyday. To be content...or to have temperance in all things will require the Holy Spirit's help.
The honest truth is. If we have a roof over our head, a home to live in, a bank account, a car, a computer, a refrigerator...we are actually richer than over 90% of the world's population...yet we humans desire more in this rat race of life and materialism. lol.

So true man,it's good we are contented in where we are at the moment and keep believing God for increase, there are people who are never contented at all, always want to have everything once which is not possible and this lead them to involve in different illegal ways to get what they want and even put them in trouble.1 Timothy 6:9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Thanks for reminding us.

I agree.. Without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in our lives, it is impossible to be contented.
