ADOLESCENCE AND ITS PHILOSOPHY

Once the stage of childhood is left, in which the parents were responsible for their behavior and gave their child the best starting point they can give in life. Not only providing them with what they need in the physical, such as food and clothing, but to meet their emotional and spiritual needs, letting them achieve their identity as it should be left to decide and have their self-determination.

But what is religion?

It is no more than the accumulation of beliefs, without scientific demonstration, based on faith, on the origin of the world and life as divine creation, and practices or worship destined to venerate that God or gods responsible for the created, shared By a human group.

In a world entered by parents between believing and not believing in religions, where diversity of thoughts differs, what identifies each of us, after going through a fairly strong upbringing process with the theme of religion.

About the time he reaches adolescence, he begins to realize the differences between personal philosophies.

Even those who claim not to be religious have their ideas about the relationship that the human family holds with the universe.
He can discern that the concepts people have about God differ greatly. Some believe that God has his throne in heaven, others believe it is everywhere, Christians believe that God manifests kindness towards the human family, although some of them believe that he is tyrannical and arbitrary in his dealings with his human children.

Atheists, who hold that there is no God, make a kind of religion of their atheism and build their personal philosophy around their atheistic theories.

We may note that some people are believers and accept God as Creator and Christ as their redeemer. Others however believe in God but do not believe in Christ. But then they hear of pagan religions and understand that adherents to these religions can be as devout as Christians.

One must have respect for the thinking of each individual, for their beliefs in life.

To respect you must learn to respect.

And when the adolescent makes these observations he begins to wonder: What is my philosophy? What do I believe and why? These questions are a symptom of the process by which the young man establishes his way of thinking.

They must decide if the philosophy of life taught to them by their parents is the one they want to adopt on their own.

They choose if they want to believe in religion, attend church or temple, whether or not God exists for them.

This choice of a religious philosophy or not is the most important decision the individual ever has to make.

It determines to a great extent the degree of happiness you will enjoy in the present life.

As a parent you can accompany the child in the process, knowing them not acting from prejudice but from knowledge, since that generates authoritarianism. On the other hand, knowledge imposes authority and cares from knowledge, you can care for and be at your side in the process of developing your identity and choice.

very nice post...

Thank you very much for visiting my profile, I like it to be of your liking.

I think it is easier for lazy parents to teach a child to be moral based on the fear of being punished than to have to explain the importance of being a socially moral person. So that's what is why religion exists, to be a repository of moral principles accepted by society, and that facilitates passing these moral values on to children, based on fear of punishment.

Religion is the way in the search of God.
Children easily believe anything, only time and teachings will determine their beliefs.
Greetings.
