China Fanjing Mountain!
Fanjing Mountain in Southwest China's Guizhou province has been included as one of the 28 destinations and experiences for the year of 2019
Fanjingshan, an other-worldly peak in China’s Wuling Mountain Range, is one of the newest natural wonders to have been added to Unesco’s ever-expanding list of World Heritage Sites.
In 1986, Fanjing Mountain was recognized as one of the International Network of Biosphere Reserves, and on July 2, 2018 it was approved for inclusion on the UNESCO list of World Natural Heritages.
Location: northeast of Guizhou Province, in Tongren prefecture.
Altitude: 2,572 meters
Area: 567 square kilometers
Must-sees: the New and Old Golden Summits, the Mushroom Stone
Suitable for: nature-lovers, mountaineers
Fanjing Mountain is a paradise for wild animals. There you can find 304 species of mammals, birds, amphibians, and reptiles, and 17 protected species, including the Guizhou golden monkeys and South China Tiger
Fanjing Mountain attracts tourists for its beautiful scenery, historical sites and unique ecological system.
