It's great to wake up with this news, I think Partiko is the best thing that has happened in Steemit, it has particularly helped me to publish regularly, because due to my work it is complicated enough to do it from a PC

Yes, I suggested the referral system to Partiko over 2 months ago. I'm glad he took my advice because this system really helps. I have a referral system, as well, on my site steemmeets that hundreds of members have already taken advantage of. To find the referral link, all you have to do is a free registration, and you are automatically given a reflink. And, no... it is not easy to "game the system" because the system recognizes the IP address, and it only allows ONE referral per IP AND the IP area as well, and it doesn't allow for abuse.
People here on Steemit don't recognize me much. I'm quiet and I work in the background (I'm kinda like a one-man-band). I figured that if no one supported me, then I will still go out and help... no matter what, because I don't help this platform for my own gain. I spend around $46 USD + 0.015 BTC a month on advertising STEEM and this platform Steemit through my program called "the Outside In." If I waited around for people to "like" me and give delegation, the program wouldn't have started. I'm glad I took the initiative to run this program even with no help because it is helping this platform. Thank you all steemians for your support and to allow me to help out in any way that I can.

Yes you are right, a referral program for Steemit.com would be so amazing and I already told this a few times on the last Steemfest events. I hope there will be an incentive for marketing works for Steemit in the future and cool that Partiko has one now. Thanks for sharing and greetings from Germany @stackin!
If you want incentivised marketing, you could use https://steem.ninja. I just earned 28 STEEM for referring someone (although they have to pay with a credit/debit card)
