Charitable deeds, let's crowd-fund for kids in Bangladesh, funds for new school laptop, nr. XI

It has been an amazing week for @SchoolForSDG4! And I will tell you all about it, but first of all: all proceeds from this post will go to @SchoolForSDG4, created by @azizbd, to help host a weekly fruit program and/or provide educational materials for the kids. Last Saturday @azizbd spoke in the BeyondBitcoin RSVP Whaletank Hangout and it resulted in two huge donations. 200 SBD from @Steempower and 37SBD from @Andyluy. Those donations are going to make things possible, that otherwise would not be.

We are ten steps closer to purchasing a new laptop for the school as the total amount donated for the purchase of it is exceeding 400 dollars! This is a starting price for a new, and not used machine that may serve for a lot of years to come! My last weeks charity post did good as well and the donations are going to go towards the purchase of the laptop. Thanks to you! The 29 amazing souls(plus me) contributing to the future of those kids!

Another great thing, the science equipment @tecnosgirl sent from United States, has arrived in Bangladesh. @Azizbd said, that even bigger schools in Bangladesh rarely have science equipment, so this is a huge step up! Who knows what tiny creatures will the kids discover during science lessons with the new microscope? Plus there was a sweet surprise in the package, some chocolates from the other side of the world!

So those are the big things that happened, but, of course, we are here to talk about what the kids have been up to this week. The fruit program this week has featured bananas. I have been eating a lot of those lately and it seems the kids enjoy them as well!

I have seen a lot of happy faces in photos this week, especially when the kids received their science equipment! You can check the post about it here. I remember how excited I was at school when we had experiments to make, it was so much fun and we never knew what the teacher was going to teach us, it was kind of a great guessing game!

Of course, they did not get out of doing actual school work, kids are still learning and acquiring new knowledge every day. And @azizbd is checking their work and making sure they improve with each passing day, so one day they are able to do something great if they choose so!

I hope you enjoyed this weeks update and I hope next week will bring as much good as this week did. This posts earnings are still going to go towards the purchase of a laptop, but if the amount donated turns out to be bigger than necessary, the extra donations will go back to the kids in some way, would it be fruits or school supplies!
