I must count myself extremely lucky to have encountered a green chameleon in a giant fern in my garden snacking away on its breakfast (insects). It was a sight to behold!
"What a gorgeous reptile!" I thought to myself as I watched its tongue dart out of its mouth to catch its prey. I noticed it saw me watching it when one of its uniquely independent eye balls rolled back to take a look at me. The other eye firmly focused on its next "snack"
I felt guilty having disturbed its hunting expedition. I took a few photos and gently backed away from its line of vision to continue marveling at the amazing show. I went back into the house to attend to something and came out after a few minutes only to find it had probably moved on to a different spot.
