Day 28 - May 30 Days Writing Challenge: Given That Steemit Is Open Source, Would You Start A Steemit Clone? If Yes, Why? If Not, Why?

Two more days before the end of this challenge led by @dragosroua. The May 30 Days Writing Challenge is now on Day 28, and let's anticipate what's the two remaining days has in store.

The question for today is Given That Steemit Is Open Source, Would You Start A Steemit Clone? If Yes, Why? If Not, Why?
I am unsure if clone is referring to something like Steemit but a different company, but if it is I don't think I am able to create such one. It will take a lot of time yo create such one which requires Blockchain stuff which I have limited knowledge about.
If the clone means creating an app or a site that would be connected to Steemit through Steemconnect like eSteem app or busy.org, I don't think I can pull such one.
What are the reasons why I won't, create a Steemit clone?
I am not a programmer. I took Computer Science but I never applied it, and considering it was more than a decade since I took that course. Basically, I have limited knowledge with programming.
As mentioned above, I have limited knowledge about blockchain and even cryptocurrencies. I am yet to understand it fully so I don't think I can give more time creating another condenser to be connected on Steemit.
Most who develops sites to be connected on Steemit are witnesses. I am not yet a witness, and I am yet to understand the job. I am not too knowledgeable what they do, so I don't think I can pull a Steemit clone.
