Time, past and future QUICKLY

in #challenge307 years ago

The older I get, the faster time passes. I judge that by Christmas, not my favorite time due to all the crass commercialism and the images imposed on us by the media of what we are supposed to be.

As a child, waiting for the next Christmas seemed endless. Now, as I am relieved by New Year’s that it is over, the next thing I know Christmas ads begin appearing.

We look back, and see a reflection of what we think our life has been. Accurate? Through the lens of memory, regret and lost hopes, our past isn’t “real” (in the sense of what actually we have experienced). The future - unknown like the road ahead of us - may seem predictable, but is it?

Too quick, that is for sure.

When I was young I Iwanted time to move fast like graduating from primary, then secondary and have the diploma in college or university. The main reason is I wanted to have a job and earn money for a living and help my mother. During those times I didn't have time for pleasure because I have no money. When I got the job, still I didn't have time for pleasure because I am too busy. Now on my way to retirement I'm still not sure if I can make it to enjoy life to the fullest...and I wanted to hold back the time.

I hope you can carve out a bit of time for yourself, marifa . I do by finding time - making time - to read and exercise pretty much everyday. take care
