A glimpse of the hottest planet this evening, today January 6, 2017
Venus over the South China sea at 18:40 PM from Northern Philippines January 6, 2017.Coming home in the evening few days back, we noticed a star bigger than the usual stars near the moon peeping through the trees. Talking about it, one of my nieces mentioned that indeed it was Venus, and it will be most noticeable from January 2nd till the 6th.

These past few weeks, when baby-sitting my 2 year old god-daughter, watching the solar system had been part of our repertoire. Dwarf planets?? I absolutely had no idea who they are...but sure know Maki Maki now! But Venus? Yeah I know her of course. Aren't we from Venus?
The moon and Venus over the South China Sea from Santa Catalina, Ilocos Sur, Philippines at 18:40 PM January 6, 2017Venus is the brightest planet visible from Earth. These past few days, the internet is awashed with their images from all over the globe. Accordingly, it is most visible on January 12th.
To see it over the course of January on a clear night, look up at the moon around 20 minutes after sunset, then gaze slightly south west.
Santa Catalina beach is a 5 minutes drive from my town. The sun have set when we arrived but here in the beach is where Venus is most visible in our place.
It's not the last glimpse of Venus...she'll be around as yet.

Samsung changed my S6 to S7 and said you won't regret it.Till now am still playing with some features. Samsung Note was taken off the market as it's the one where customers were having problems with.

I do that too with my camera...I just point and click but people say"YOU set up the shot". So....there you go....pat yourself on the back a little bit :)

Yeah aren't they awesome. Phones specifications are getting better and better. As for the camera, their megapixels too are getting higher and higher. Less hassles to carry than proper cams.
