Day Two Of The Year And Of Challenge30
Good evening, my friends. This post is a quickie. Both in form and in length. Nothing of a profound belletristic value, I am afraid.
Looks like the ladder.net autoposter is not working. I've written two posts in advance only to find out that the are gone to the byte nirvana instead of being published here.
No problem.
Day two of 2017:
- beautiful day at the sea with my family with an early morning very short run
- We came home late so I quickly unpacked everything and sat behind the computer
- Did the monthly finances which I do on the first day of every month
- Answered to all replies on steemit
- Found out about gridcoin - hence the cover image
- Recovered my ages old SETI@Home account
- Installed BOINC client and Gridcoin wallet
- Wrote this post
That's it for an easygoing day :)
Tomorrow is my first day at work. Let's say I am looking forward to it...

I have found the Gridcoin, BOINC, Steemit combination to be extremely complementary, being socially useful, and providing a little extra money.
I have been involved with mining Gridcoin only since the 10th of December. Having learnt about it at CryptoCoinTalk.com, and in turn about Steemit through a casual mention by a fellow Gridcoin miner.
While I don't expect neither Gridcoin nor Steemit will make me rich, I do feel that they are an excellent way to supplement income, and feel I am doing something socially useful at the same time.
Good luck with your Gridcoin mining, and I wish you every success with Steemit.

Thanks for your reply. I just might be rediscovering Boinc computations. I was running SETI@Home well before Boinc was born :)
OK, we'll see in next days and weeks how will it turn out. I guess I will have to decide between Nicehash Miner and Boinc / Gridcoin combination...
I have also been running seti@home since it first came out. It was largely how I used my computer's capabilities beyond the basic use I made of it for word processing. In May of 2016, I moved to an area of the world with no Internet connection, and did not return until the second week of December. It amazed me how much change in the Internet world had occurred. In the process of catching up, I stumbled across Gridcoin, and in turn upon Steemit. I don't know what else has arisen in my absence, but I think I will just focus on the Gridcoin, Steemit, combination for the moment.
