White Coral Bells

Olivia tossed a stone into the pond with a sploosh. “Stacy said it’s not true.”

Momma sat down on a rock. “What’s not true?”

“That we’ll hear the white coral bells ring. When the fairies sing.”

“What Stacy lacks in imagination, she inventively makes up for in squashing others’ dreams.”

Thank you for reading! This is one of several 50-word stories I wrote for the prompt of "bells." Hilariously, I only intended to write one, but through some odd Wordpress glitch, the story posted multiple times. So I took the opportunity to write multiple stories on this theme of bells, replacing each of the repeats with a new story.
