Reflection

Fela Kuti remains one of the finest musicians to have come out of Africa. Fela's Lady queries the Europeanization of African women and the whole idea of the women liberation movement.

Fela implies that the conservative African women who takes care of the home are better women than those who struggle to dominate their homes.

While Fela ideas may appear to be chauvinist, there are a lot of takeaways from his great song.
