Free certificate from Google?
Some of you may know this already, but for those that aren't already aware, you can get a FREE certification from Google!
Yeah, you did read that correctly... FREE!
This is an online course that google have provided, which you can complete at your own pace so you can fit it around your lifestyle, and if you pass every single lesson at the end you get a certification awarded by Google and IAB Europe.
Which could be a great addition to your CV!
The Digital Garage offers courses that will teach you about online marketing and other intricate bits of having an online presence, which is very valuable information in my opinion.
You simply choose the desired lesson, watch the related video, and answer a series of questions, some with multiple choice answers, some with a drag and drop, and if you get the questions right you move onto the next topic.
There's not shame in getting some answers wrong either, you simply just have another go until you get it right and you can even go back an watch the video over again. You can track your progress too, see what lessons you have yet to complete and you'll be awarded badges as you complete each topic.
I've started going through the lessons myself, and I have to say it's a really nice to use interface. You will see Google's usual house style both in the videos and the pages that you interact with. The familiar colours that google use make the learning experience feel more comfortable and the topics are broken down so you don't feel bombarded with information, making it easier to digest.
Remember this is a completely free resource, all you need is your email address and internet connection and you're good to go!

That is so cool of them. There seem to be a ton of online marketeers these day already though. But inbookmarked the post regardless.
