Free markets will always innovate industries, social venues, dating and society in general

It is especially obvious in technology that when a free market is thriving, the consumer and the society greatly benefit from competition. Recently when several major news stories broke about social media giants like youtube and twitter as well as stories from 2016 about facebook culling the conservative content and membership of their platform by installing algorithms that weed out, or shadow ban "a way of talking" which as confirmed by high ranking employees of these social media platforms means "conservatives", "Trump supporters" and "Republicans".
With that information being exposed there has been a great exodus from many of those platforms to places like SteemIt, D.Tube, Dailymotion, Instagram, Ello and other lesser social media platforms, or platforms that are new and up-and-coming in the social media world.
I took it upon myself to protest these social media platforms that are indiscriminately censoring simply anything that resembles "conservative speech" without any other good reason, by leaving the major platforms that have been implicated in this censorship.
Now I am seeing as this exodus is taking place the value of Steem, and other social media platforms increase in popularity, and those who work on blockchain technology, the prices of their coin/currency increasing in large leaps and bounds.
As an early adopter of Bitcoin, and other digital currencies, both blockchain based and non-blockchain based, I am very excited to have freed up my time from the other platforms to invest in my time here on Steemit and D.Tube.
I am glad there are unlimited options for expressing ones self online, and as a world traveler and an ex-patriot of the USA, I am glad to see the competition on the world stage, where countries are competing to attract talent and investment in their society.
What this means to civilization, is that if something is sub-par, or participating unscrupulous tactics in their business, or government, that there are other options available.

I will be making commentary on international political issues, immigration issues, blockchain technologies, day-trading aerial photography via my Mavic Pro drone, and giving personal opinions on random subjects.
