Earthquakes is a sudden violent movement of the Earth's surface. Earthquake have been used in human history to accomplish His purpose whether it is judgement deliverance, his wrath at the crucifixion or to announce the resurrection. When Korah and Abiram rebelled against Moses, God sent an earthquake to eliminate Korah and his entire household. When Jesus yielded up the ghost at his crucifixion there was an earthquake just as the temple viel was rent into two (Matthew 27:51). Again at His resurrection there was a great earthquake and the angel of the Lord descended from heaven and rolled back the stone (Matthew 28:2)
When Paul and Silas prayed and sang praises unto God at midnight in the prison God sent an earthquake to free them from their bonds and from prison.
Jesus predicted in Matthew 24 that one of the signs of His second coming would be earthquake in diverse places.

In recent years we have had earth quake in America, Japan, Turkey, Pakistan, India and China. Even in my country Nigeria some years ago we recorded earth tremors in Ijebu - ode. As we draw nearer to the close of this age earthquakes will increase in frequency even in the unlikeliest of places to confirm the word of God. When we see these things happening we ought to make ourselves ready. Earthquakes in diverse places
