The perfect weekend getaway to de-stress, swim your way around Agus, Lapu-Lapu Cebu

Summer is just around the corner. The weather started to get hotter everyday, except for a few raindrops due to some Low Pressure Area here and there. So here I am again, giving you some heads up on where to bring your family and friends for the next swimming hang out. Or if you are a tourist and is looking for a place to stay and enjoy outdoor swimming then you probably might want to consider this post.

Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu is one of the few islands in the Philippines known to house white sand beaches and is famous for its Diving spots. That is why resorts are everywhere. From high class to ones that can be afford by the public. Some people though preferred the sense of enclosure swimming pools offered rather than the open sea, where lots of things can happen, with the unpredictable waves and all. Besides that, you can get sunburnt easily if you are not careful.

In a swimming pool, you can enjoy the safety feeling that no sharks nor waves might take you to God knows where. Especially if you have kids with you. The place that I'll be featuring now is none other than the Agus Hotel. Though it might sounds intimidating because it is a hotel, you might think that you need to book a room first before you can go swim but no, the hotel offers their swimming pool to the public. So here we come! The place offers a wide pool with a more than average landscape. They even have an artificial cave where you can go swim around.

That is us invading the place! As you can see in the background, they even have some kind of water fountains where kids and adult alike can enjoy. And a bridge a bit submerge in the water.

Soaking in the water really feels good and would definitely lighten up your spirit. It is a great way to bond with family and loved ones. Above is a picture of me (in pink) and my sister in law.

It is a great place really. It's worth a try if you just want to hang and lower down the heat. Kids can enjoy in the shallow parts of the pool and a separate one for the little kids.

And they have a gazebo in the middle! You can go and jump and back again. The place is perfect for selfies as they have nice backgrounds and landscapes.

Cottages are available at the sides of the pool, depending on where you wanted to stay. Prices also depends on the type and size of cottages. During our visit, the price is more or less 300 pesos and no food corkage fee. The entrance is around 150 pesos.

This place is also perfect for a weekend getaway to de-stress and relieve yourself from the worries even for a short period of time.
