No decoration stuff here

"TAKE A PIC ROUND 13"- CHRISTMAS LANTERN/ STUFF is a ccc contest hosted by @olivia08 and I have not much to show you.

It is simple we do not celebrate Christmas and except for a tree we do not decorate the house either.

Some neighbours have lights at the roof of their houses. Not me. It never was a custom, I find it a waste of money and electricity and... I cannot see it if I stay inside. So... our house you can find in the dark. It's the place with the curtains closed.

What do we have?

Three of these.
Bought about 7-8 years ago. There never been a present in. Santa does not know where we live and they hang close to the wood stove.

Santa will not climb through our chimney.
There is no room plus there is smoke and the stove is burning. This one gives a lot of heat. Great to dry the laundry fast and it makes chocolate melt fast too.

Each year I buy an advent calendars.
It is good for 24 days one chocolate a day. A very small gesture that keeps the children happy.

If you search you find this one.
No one will wear it.

An orange, walnuts, some juice and marzipan for each.
Things I usually not buy. The marzipan I bought after December 5th it was on sale. The orange is there because the shop had no tangerines, the juice is left from last summer and walnuts we usually have on our tree but not this year. I think it was too dry.

There is a magazine for each of us.
It is good to read and... (staying updated is not the right word).

These bags we have (and reuse) too.
It is what the children had at school on December 6th. There are candies in it (some chemical stuff covered with chocolate) and if you are lucky a chocolate Saint, tangerine and nuts.

We don't make or buy Christmas stuff.
I have enough green and red in my house.

Our tree is fake and mainly green.
A lot of stuff hanging around gives us a headache. So some little ribbons.

Some stars

Some balls.
And we have some lights and "straw figures" like stars, balls but no angels.

No cooking, no visitors, no presents these days.
Not because I am ill but it is no habit with us. You can find us reading, sleeping or watching a film.
