Saludos a todos los miembros de la familia #CCC. Este concurso semanal, alojado por la amiga @wakeupkitty, trata de que recordemos anécdotas de nuestro pasado. Temas que dejen en nuestra memoria algún mensaje, y que participando en esta semana, podamos compartir con los demás. También debemos explicar el porqué de nuestro recuerdo, anécdota o situación en particular. Además del concurso alojado por @Freedomshift, cuyo tema es, cual es el significado para mi de esta fecha.?

Estuve de viaje estos días atrás. Visitando la población que me alojó, cuando recién me gradué. El ministerio de salud, en aquel entonces, hacía cumplir un artículo obligatorio, para todos los médicos recién graduados.

Así es como me toca ir a trabajar, a esta población del llano oriental. Allí conocí a muchas personas. Con algunas de ellas, establecí una conexión muy importante. Hasta el punto, que durante todo el tiempo que viví en esa población, mantuve una comunicación muy estrecha con una familia, que hasta el día de hoy, por más de 22 años, aun siguen siendo mi familia preferida, después de mi familia de sangre.

Greetings to all members of the #CCC family. This weekly contest, hosted by friend @wakeupkitty, tries to remember anecdotes from our past. Topics that leave a message in our memory, and that participating in this week, we can share with others. We must also explain the reason for our memory, anecdote or particular situation. In addition to the contest hosted by @Freedomshift, whose theme is, what is the meaning for me of this date.

I was traveling these days ago. Visiting the population that hosted me, when I just graduated. The Ministry of Health, at that time, enforced a mandatory article, for all newly graduated doctors.

This is how I have to go to work, to this population of the eastern plain. There I met many people. With some of them, I established a very important connection. To the point, that during all the time I lived in that population, I maintained a very close communication with a family, which until today, for more than 22 years, are still my favorite family, after my blood family.

Decidí pasar mis navidades con ellos. Mi hijo, siempre quiere visitarlos, pero en la actualidad, los viajes se hacen muy espaciados. La situación no permite que viajemos tan a menudo como en otras épocas.

Pero eso no impide, que el amor fraterno permanezca intacto. Siempre en nuestros corazones, estará vivo el sentimiento que nos une a ambas familias. La tecnología permite, que aunque los viajes no sean frecuentes, la comunicación, siempre se de.

Estar allá, me permite tener una interacción muy estrecha con la naturaleza. Las plantas silvestres, el queso fresco, la leche de vaca hervida, recién extraída de la vaca. Los huevos frescos de gallinas ponedoras. La carne de res, de cochino, de animales recién sacrificados, para el consumo humano. Café, del grano al molino y luego al fogón. La caña de azúcar de los cañizales al molino y a tomar. Todo esto y mucho más me retiene sentimentalmente al campo oriental. Tienen el cielo tocándolo con las manos. Pero está la contraparte. No tienen auxilio de las autoridades. No llega transporte, no llega el combustible, no llegan productos que ellos no producen, pero se necesitan. El calzado, la ropa, los detergentes, las escuelas y los hospitales, son lujo. Y otras necesidades, que me costaran otra publicación.

I decided to spend my Christmas with them. My son always wants to visit them, but nowadays, the trips become very spaced. The situation does not allow us to travel as often as in other times.

But that does not prevent fraternal love from remaining intact. Always in our hearts, the feeling that unites us to both families will be alive. The technology allows, although the trips are not frequent, the communication always takes place.

Being there allows me to have a very close interaction with nature. Wild plants, fresh cheese, boiled cow's milk, freshly extracted from the cow. Fresh eggs from laying hens. Beef, pork, freshly slaughtered animals, for human consumption. Coffee, from the grain to the mill and then to the stove. Sugarcane from the cane to the mill and to drink. All this and much more emotionally holds me back to the eastern countryside. They have heaven touching it with their hands. But there is the counterpart. They have no help from the authorities. Transportation does not arrive, fuel does not arrive, products that they do not produce do not arrive, but they are needed. Footwear, clothes, detergents, schools and hospitals are luxury. And other needs, which will cost me another publication.
