It was just a small garden snake but they have gotten copperheads in the past. They are strictly outside cats.
Very cool! I really like the idea of farm cats that are also well socialized and taken care of... helping out, but not just "feral wild things."

We love our cats here on the homestead. They are good at pest control and they keep my little Cling-ons happily entertained.
Nothing beats a good farm cat...my dad used to have two Maine Coon cats out on his farm. Every morning we found new trophies! Have a good day! 👍

aw this was sweet! the life of a farm cat. your cats are productive! mice, rats and snakes! ours don't bring the "treats" to us so i'm not sure what they've caught lately, but one just had kittens so i think her resources are going elsewhere these days. it's a good life for a farm cat, especially with the views you've got :)

Hey! You beat me to the cat post! Lol! Just this week I got footage of my toddler chasing the cats around, just haven't had time to do any editing this week. Anyway, our are strictly outside. Dogs, too. Well, they do sleep in the shop when it's cold, which is connected to the house, but you know what I mean. We gave up on indoor pets once we had kids. I can barely keep up with the clean up behind my 4 little animals, let alone any furry ones. Lol! Once their grown maybe I'll have an indoor pet again.
