Armed Spinx
I was amazed! Again!
😊
…
In later few posts I was showing you moths of Sphingidae family, like Small Elephant Hawk-moth:
…and Oak moth:
…
It is characteristic that caterpillars of Sphingidae family rise in an attitude that reminds of the Sphinx, and have a spike at the top of its back.
I just found one of them!
Moths of that family are the most beautiful, but look at that caterpillar! It is huge!
I do not recognize which one this is, but I suppose it is in one of its last phase, concluding by its size.
Thank you for your attention!
@andrijana
Great photo!
Beautiful insects !!
Thank you!
Eccentric taste, isn't it?
:-))))
Amazing macro shots! Well captured!
Thank you!
It was just mobile phone :)
Oh it is huge...
and kindof pretty :)
Kind of :) It depends on affinity. When you have an eccentric taste it may be quite pretty.
I really like the big ones although that big size means that they eat a lot
If there were many of them I wouldn't be amazed at all :D
