Traditional old Timer Rally Maribor (Slovenia) - wasn't fast but was surely done in style / Part 1
Greetings Steemians,
Today I would like to share with you my first ever Traditional old Timer Rally event I went to watch this morning in city Maribor (Slovenia). Here was one of the challanges they had on their rally. Because here were some cars even older than 70 years and nobody wants to destroy their beauties it wasn't about speed at all. The challange was for cars to complete the simple course in 30 seconds. Any second under or above would bring driver a penalty point, the course was set with two cones with a starting point. Drivers had to driver around the cones two times ( looked like shape : 8 ) and drive threw starting line in 30 seconds, so everything was done in classic style. :)
Here is the 1st part of some classic beauties that were competing in Traditional old Timer Rally :
Ford Thunderbird V8 cabriolet (1955)
BMW 316 (1978)
Ferrari 308 quattrovalvole (1982)
Awesome looking bike :)
Renault 8 S 1.5 (1967) simular ones they used in Group A Rally.
Opel Kadett C Coupe 1.2S (1978)
BMW 2002 ti 2.0 (1975)
There were lots of different cars, mostly imported from all over the world or even rare examples of 1. owner cars, even few drivers came from Germany, Croatia and Austria. This is the end for 1st part of my Traditional old Timer Rally Maribor event.
Stay tuned for more Amateur Adventures!

That E21 with Alpina rims, lovely! I also seem to spot an E30 pre-facelift with the 14" 'hubcap' alloys. Anymore pics of that by any chance?
I think they were original E21 rims :) but owner added beer cans in center if u see haha :) Don't think so, but I can show you another shot of 2002 ti from behind :)

Yeah the supplier for Alpina (Ronal) at the time also supplied BMW and these wheels were a factory option. Anyway thanks for the info and the pic. THAT is one wild rear window aero setup :)).
