in #cars6 years ago

Today this brand doesn't exist anymore but their design of SUV was already with modern lines...

The car? The Fornasi RR99

Powered by an Americain engine from Chevrolet with 610 HP under the hood.
The acceleration to 100 km/h (60 mph) in 3.8s.
The RR was presented in 2010 at the Geneva Motor Show.

Did you know?

The Fornasi car manufacturer was founded in 1999 and ceased all production in 2015. Reason: Bankruptcy.

From an aesthetic standpoint, it's quite ugly. Proportionally, it looks like the greenhouse from a Chrysler Sebring on top of the lower body of a mutated Cayenne. Wheel gap is huge, like an SUV, but the rest of the styling cues seem to try for sports sedan.

It might have had decent power and performance, but the styling is way off the mark. I can see why they went belly up.

It totally is, but you can see a lot of the shapes and forms later used in various models now released. Just to show the evolution of designs and how some earlier (and ugly) models probably served as inspiration for lot of other most definitely successful models. It's like they mixed up a lot of different designs lol
The front reminds me a tad bit of Aston Martin.

I agree with bezean. Design is horrid. looks almost like a mad max type of car.

Mad Max car looked cool. Not off as much as this one hehe. Yes, it's horrible lol

Wow...👏👏👍🏻👍🏻

"wow" as in 'wtf an ugly car'? ahaha
