Mazda RX-7 FD

Produced in the years 1992-2002 is the most iconic and the most rare model of the RX line. The only one that uses wankle engines to finish. It is worth noting, however, that Mazda RX-7 is not only technically interesting, but also stylistically a car. The charm is also enhanced by the closing lights, which, unlike Honda NSX, survived until the end of production.

The 1.3-liter dual-impeller engine, thanks to the double, sequential charging of Hitachi turbochargers, reaches approximately 240 hp. It's not much, but the unit power of 184 hp / liter makes a bigger impression. Weighs only 1250-1300 kg, and 100km / h reaches in 5.5 s.

On the European market, the RX-7 was available only from 1992 to 1996, with the introduction of new environmental standards, the sale of new cars of this type was no longer possible. The success of this model on the European and German market was moderate and only a few vehicles were sold in Germany.
