Japanese Ferrari

this term was used when this model debuted. Honda NSX presented in 1989. The car was indeed a competition for European supercars, despite the lack of a V8 engine and small power shortages. Ayrton Senna worked on the design NSX

Not only the body line could easily compete with Italian supercars, but also the construction - a centrally located engine driving the rear axle - and details such as closed headlights or a removable roof in the targa version. By the way, in the same year 1989 Ferrari 348 was presented, which was quite similar to NSX, although it offered a V8 engine.

Engine

V6 with a 3.0-liter displacement initially developed power from about 250 to 270 hp - due to the huge number of versions. In 1997, its place was taken by a larger 3.2-liter engine with a power of 280-290 hp. To this day, it is one of the most durable engines in sports cars. It can easily withstand runs of 400000-500000 km .
Honda NSX is the first serial car with a fully aluminum body. Depending on the equipment version it weighs from 1200 to less than 1500 kg

Acceleration

100kmh reached in about 5.5 seconds, 200kmh after 22 seconds. The maximum speed of the European version is about 270 km / h. The Type-S version was interesting, reaching about 290 hp
and 100 km / h in less than 5 seconds.
