1967 Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 Coupé

The March 18th, this 1967 Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 Coupé is expected to go for north of $550,000 at an upcoming Bonhams' auction because first one of first model of Lamborghini and also it was originally the property of Sir Paul McCartney.

History Lamborghini 400GT

In an older post about the 350GT, you can find the story behind the birth of Lamborghini, a disput between Enzo Ferrari and Ferruccio Lamborghini. The 400GT appeared in 1966, a development of the 350GT (first model of Lamborghini in 1963), with 3,929cc V12 engine for a maximum power of 320hp.

This model keeps the same look of the 350GT but taller in order to have more space for the rear-passenger with a steel body. And to respect the US's requirements, the twin headlights have been installed.

Nice interior with the wheel at the right for Sir Paul McCartney :-).
