Austin A90 Atlantic
It's Red!
An interesting thing to say the least, I saw something in this car that I have never seen before, and it wasn't the 3rd headlight, I can't explain this car, the photos don't do it justice but there was something about it that caught my eye.
The dimensions of the thing were spot on and worked in a weird sort of way.
The Atlantic was built to appeal to North American tastes, an interesting idea as they wanted to sell cars.
The A90 has an engine from the A70 with increased capacity to 2660cc, producing 88hp.
I have never seen one of these and probably won't see one ever again it was nice to look at from an historic point of view and an immaculately prepared car. Something different and would be fun to drive on the road.

Beautiful car @gyro. I have never been interested in old style cars but this one is really sexy it just draws me in and I like really the colour too even though I am not a red fan.

I see what you mean about how the styling caught your eye. The design of the front guard which extends to the back of the car is like a French curve. It's very Fibonnaci-esque, maybe that's why the design is so striking and eye catching ?
It could be, they don't really care about things like that these days most cars start to look the same after a while.

Hi thanks for the pic of the Atlantic it looks fantastic. That is a 4 cylinder petrol engine rather on the big side at almost 2.7l capacity. I've liked these since the first time i had seen one at the all British car show in Brisbane many years ago.
